Customer switched from PEI to PEI/PC Alloy - Metal Plated

Oxford saved our customer 35% off material costs by switching from an Ultem 1000 black to a PEI/PC901-BK compound. Our customer needed higher heat deflection protection then straight polycarbonate offers (around 350°F). Ultem 1000 was originally specified, but our PEI/PC 901 met the HDT requirement at a much lower cost. Additionally, Oxford was able to shorten the cycle time and improve metal plating adhesion.
